A little activity at Luigi’s…
If you’ve noticed some activity at the old Luigi’s on Sabattus Street, there’s been a little of everything happening behind those doors—cleaning, fixing, checking equipment and figuring out what needs attention next.
Pine & Shine has been part of it, and it’s been good to see the progress. Some days it’s a freshly cleaned space. Other days it’s a stubborn door finally working better. Small things, but they add up.
I’ve especially appreciated working alongside Stacy of R & S Enterprise of Sebago. She’s pitched in with cleaning, supplies and the kind of practical knowledge that helps when a project throws you something unexpected. Coastal Hood Cleaners, Zoom Drain, MRE and Firesafe Equipment have each brought their skills to the work, too.
There’s still more to do. As for what comes next for the space—we’ll leave those announcements to the people making the plans. For now, we’re happy to help it move forward.
Lewiston has people who care about this city and are willing to put work into it. I believe new local businesses—and the people helping them get started—can be part of how we move forward together.
It’s encouraging to see some activity here. We’re glad to be a small part of it.
